私達の国、日本はここ数十年にわたり経済を重視した政策を続けてきた結果、人々の生活は豊かになりましたが、拝金主義（お金だけ）、利己主義（自分だけ）、刹那主義（今だけ）が蔓延するようになり、大都会に人口が集中し、地方は高齢化と過疎化が進んでいます。そして高齢化と過疎化の進んだ日本各地で、古くから伝えられ守られてきた、日本が世界に誇る文化であり、芸術である多くのお祭りが後継者、担い手の深刻な不足によって今まさに存続の危機に瀕しています。
この古来から大切に受け継がれてきた、日本人の貴重な財産であるお祭りの存続の一助となることを願いつつ、私達は約１０年前より、お祭りの開催に合わせて日本各地に赴き、写真の撮影と取材を続けてきました。そしてその成果を多くの人に知ってもらおうとこのサイトを立ち上げました。
私達は世界中の一人でも多くの人にこの日本の貴重なお祭りという文化を知ってもらえるよう、そしてお祭りがこの先も存続して行けるように、このサイトを運営し続けて行きたいと思っています。スタートは１０のお祭りですが、私達はこれをもっともっと増やして行きたいと思っています。
私達はこれまでこの活動を無報酬で続けて来ましたが、今後も続けて行くためにはサイトの運営費や取材費用などのいろいろな活動資金が必要になります。皆様のご寄付をその活動資金に充てさせていただき、日本のお祭りの存続に少しでも寄与する活動を続けて行きたいと思っています。日本古来のお祭りの存続を願う方々、日本の古き良き伝統を守りたいと思われる方々のご寄付をお願い申し上げます。

Japanese government has been carrying out economic-oriented policies for decades. As a result, people have been enriched, but mammonism(only money), egoism (only oneself) and momentism (only now) has become widespread in Japanese peoples mind. The population is concentrated in the big cities, and the rural areas are aging and depopulating more and more. Japanese festivals, our world-class culture and art, which have been passed down and preserved for a long time, are on the verge of survival now due to the serious shortage of successors and organizers in many aging and depopulated areas of Japan.
With the hope that it will contribute to the continuation of the festivals, the precious assets of the Japanese people, which have been inherited since ancient times, we have continued to go to various areas of Japan in time for the fetivals to take pictures and collect data. And we started this site so that many people could know our activity.
We wish to keep this site running so that as many people as possible in the world could know the culture of this precious festivals of Japan, and that the festivals will continue to exist forever. Although there are only 10 of the festivals with the beginning, we want to increase them even more.
We have been working on this activity as a volunteer so far, but in order to continue in the future, various activity funds such as site operation costs and coverage costs will be required. We would like to use the donations from you to fund the activities and continue to contribute to the continuation of Japanese festivals. We look forward to the contributions of those who wish to continue the ancient Japanese festivals and those who want to preserve the good old traditions of Japan. Please help our activity. Thank you.
